Our offices are open Monday through Friday until 5pm, but call us if you are experiencing a dental emergency, and we’ll try to get you in as soon as possible. Patients with dental emergencies that include knocked out teeth should see a dentist right away.
Toothaches can cause swelling, headaches and tension. A toothache can be the result of a cavity, tooth decay or gum disease. If you are suffering from a toothache and are experiencing swelling and facial puffiness, call our Humble emergency dentist. Before the appointment, if the pain is severe, taking aspirin and putting ice on the affected area can help with the pain and throbbing. You may also need a root canal. When the inner pulp of a tooth has decayed, a root canal can be performed to save the tooth and cap it off with a crown for protection. A root canal, also known as endodontic procedure, is a painless, easy procedure done right in office. Root canals take some time to do and can be done in a few visits, one to clean and seal the tooth and the other to place the crown over the tooth. Root canals may be needed if the tooth has become damaged by repeated dental procedures, or from trauma or tooth decay.
Broken or cracked teeth, broken jaws, dislodged teeth or a severe toothache all qualify as dental emergencies. If you think you may have a dental emergency, call our
Humble emergency dentist as soon as possible so that we can get you in for an appointment. Don’t wait for your dental emergency, call Dr. Coligado today so that we can have you feeling better in no time.
